Trump Revealed Classified Information ....

But for Deep Throat would we have had the Watergate actually get results?

The proverbial tree that falls in the woods, but no one there to hear it...You seem to be suggesting that the media has a role in checks and balances...how novel!!!

Typical lib's. Never think big enough. Forget impeachment, just overturn the election.
If you really wanted to punish him, put him in a Motel 6 with Hillry

So who is REALLY doing the leaking; Trump or the MSM?

We know it was Trump leaking this code word level classified information to the Russians. Nobody has said that he didn't expose confidential information to the Russians. That includes McMasters, Powell, Tillerson and Trump himself. The argument has transitioned whether it was "appropriate" for Trump to share this information without prior discussion/declassification. The administration says this was "wholly appropriate" even though they reportedly scrambled to alert the NSA and CIA following the meeting.

Who shared the information that Trump had committed this act? I'm sure Trump would like to know because every misstep he makes (which there are many, bordering on incompetent) is making its way to the press.

So the President can declassify our nuclear arsenal and technically has the right to and not break the law, but that you would be just fine with that?.
Irrelevant.

Well that's a pretty low bar.

Clearly, you don't have children and/or you have mommy and daddy issues.

I guess that means you agree with him divulging the information.
Neither you nor I have any idea of what was discussed, but if it helps kill ISIS members I'm good with it.

oh the irony.
Not really. Just fact.

All that aside, I thought McMasters did as good a job as possible in his presser, but by no means put out the fire, especially since upon his exit he indicated he wasnt sure if the President was aware of the source of the intelligence. It was pretty clear that this discussion and utterances were extemporaneous and not planned. Whether they were appropriate in context of the conversation, doesnt resolve larger issues of a greater context.

McMaster, in a White House briefing, said: "In the context of that discussion, what the president discussed with the foreign minister was wholly appropriate to that conversation and is consistent with the routine sharing of information between the president and any leaders with whom he is engaged."

On Monday, McMaster told reporters: "The president and the foreign minister reviewed a range of common threats to our two countries including threats to civil aviation. At no time, at no time were intelligence sources or methods discussed and the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known."

Looks like the larger issues are resolved.

At no point in either of those statements did McMaster say that confidential information was not shared. In fact, that specific correction is not in any administration statements. Why do you think that is? Would you agree that these statements are very carefully wordsmithed?

I have to admit that I find it hilarious that the left is now concerned about national security when they yawned over classified info being found on Hillary's unsecured server.

Distraction?

A sitting POTUS invited Russia into the Oval Office, relayed to them the highest level of classified material and you want to talk about 110 email sitting on a private email server on which there is no evidence of hacking? Find an email in which HRC sent top secret information to Minister Lavrov an then you have an analogous story. Of course, Trump supporters said "lock her up" for having confidential email on a private server yet now claim this is fake news.

It was legal what Trump did. Can't say the same for what Hillary did.

Actually, they did share confidential information. That was the whole point of the meeting. They wanted to let the Russians know of a plot to bring down one of their airliners.

I'm guessing that Obama did it all the time. But we would never hear about it because the MSM would protect him at all cost.

Wait...now you're comparing a conscious decision by the Obama Administration to share intelligence information with the Russians and the "oops" that the sitting POTUS just did last week in the Oval Office? You're venturing into "crazy" territory.

How do you know it's an oops? Because the media said it was?

Now its an "oops". The B.S. never ends.

Yeah, it's typical for the administration to scramble to alert the NSA/CIA immediately after the meeting after exposing confidential information. That says "planning" to me. How 'bout you?

He makes my brain hurt. Mainstream media sycophants will believe anything.

Edit: Out of line...I'm sorry. There are times when the MSM is incorrect but it's been right much more often, especially more than the spin coming from the Trump Admin.

Who said that happened?

Oh that's right...everything is a lie. At least everything that doesn't support what you want to believe. Carry on. Fake news...charade...bias while ignoring each and every time the Trump administration has lied to you.

The fact that you're irritated tells me you're trying to defend BS. I guess it was from the impeccable Washington Post, huh? Sorry, after the fake news spectacle last week I'm a little skeptical. Let me guess, it came from anonymous sources.

Trump has already stated that he intentionally discussed classified information with the Russians about airline security issues. Does that sound like an oops? The administration notified the CIA and NSA out of "an overabundance of caution", not because of an "oops".
