The problem with DOGE is not that they are trying to find FWA. It is that none of their actual firings appear to be the result of findings. DOGE is merely a pretext to get rid of as many federal workers as possible no matter their role, or their performance.

Musk has authority granted by Trump. The President has the authority to hire or fire anyone in the Executive branch.

I disagree. It is full transparency and we the people who elected him get to witness first hand how he is running the country. Hard for the media to spin this towards their narrative. We can make up our own minds and conclusions.

I can't believe you are happy with that **** show. This is the problem with DJT calling Zelinski a dictator (when he is not). You can't call someone a dictator to the world and not expect pushback. Vance's immediate "not showing respect" and "not thanking the president" was crap.
 
The ends don't always justify the means. DJT tries to cow everyone he perceives to be less powerful than him and when they stand up for themselves or their country he takes great offense.

It is beyond hypocrisy for JD Vance to accuse Zelinski of not showing respect when our president called him a dictator in front of the whole world just a week ago.

Zelensky hasn't used the US. The US has used Zelensky. If Zelensky thinks the US should continue to destroy his country in a war, then he is an idiot. I think, maybe, this was scripted.

He was installed by the CIA. Of course he is a dictator and would lose the next election.
 
Z started some **** he couldn't possibly back up - and he did it in the freaking Oval Office in front of the media. He totally f'd up. Trump will not be bullied in any way in any forum. Hence, "don't let the door hit you where the good lord split ya".
No worries, Z will come crawling back.
 
It was interesting to see Trump defend Z from a reporter question on not wearing a suit

The kerfuffle seems to start with Zelensky questioning Vance's criticism of Biden policies

They aren't the POTUS, and DJT is a special kind of crappy when it comes to how he treats people. Dem's are crappy because of their policy positions. DJT is crappy because he only values people relative to what they can do for him. You can argue that these other people were also crappy just hid it better. IMO, what you can't argue is that DJT is not crappy himself. Just because the guy is doing some things we favor, does not forgive the other crappy things he is doing. It is ok to differentiate between his positive actions and his crappy ones. We don't have to be acolytes to his worst actions and accusations.

He called Z a dick-tater, which is just two guys joking around.
 
I really don’t pay enough attention, but isn’t the dictator comment a reference to Z’s not allowing himself to be legitimatized by an election? Ie, that he doesn’t have a proper current mandate from his people, and has therefore no more legitimacy than a dictator? I’m sure if Trump had stayed in power in 2017, or refused to allow an election, he would get that label. So, (is that even right?), saying that about Z isn’t just an insult , but has factual content. Asking for myself….
