Trouble in Paradise?

First, the stadium was only 20% full at start of game if you exclude the Corp and student sections. By start of 2nd half, the stadium was about 5% full. It was 42 F and raining.

In 1974 we played them at home, my first and only aggie game. I remember how freezing cold and wet it was that day (awesome game, we crushed them early). I don't recall many people leaving early even though "stay late" wasn't a Thing back then.

They have real issues in CS . I know a few ags, this leaving early or not showing up at all is something new.

I was there also...my last aggy game (before graduating). Cold, wet: aggy was rated #3 nationally (IIRC). With less than 5 minutes gone in the 1st quarter we were up 17-0. Went on to win 33-3 ish(???). GLORIOUS T-day.

Y'all laugh at the empty stands but you forget that it's probably because of all the fun and interesting things to do in that town

Thank you:hookem:
I wish there was a poor aggy emoji
Cancel that. They don't deserve any attention
Good idea, but they don't need/deserve an emoji...they have a song dedicated solely to them...my all time favorite song that goes like this:

POOOOOOOOOR AAAGGYYYYs
POOOOOOOOOR AAAGGYYYYs
POOOOOOOOOR AAAGGYYYYs

Repeat

In 2000 we had a back-and-forth defensive effort in the first half, with our only TD coming off of a Greg Brown pick-6 in their red zone. Slocum decides to ride the wave and kicks off again in the 2nd half, to the dismay of nearly every Aggie around me (sat in the NW corner that year).

We score TDs on 3 straight possessions to open the 2nd half. It was pretty crappy weather and all the maroon around me faded. "Chrissy" Simms would beat the **** out of them 3 straight years.

1974 - Raymond Clayborn big role in that early lead?

Ray Clay was one of the best RBs to ever play at Texas. He was big, strong, and really fast; never stepped out of bounds to deliver a hit. Fortunately for him, he was a better DB.

They are the best fan base in football. They don't have to tell any of us why they weren't there.

Fox bagging’ the aggys this morning on their no-show last week during their bowl game with UMass. Showing footage of the empty stadium - just love the love their gettin…deservedly so.

Apparently, their bad luck is a collie curse...

We should have never moved those dogs... | TexAgs

I get the Cubs curse and some other great traditions across all of sports. Hell, i always put my right sock on my foot before games as a kid, and still do.

If anyone really believes the Farmers are losing because the dogs aren’t being respected should look for Jimmy Hoffa in the foundation of Ford Field.

TexAgs FB page posted the obligatory “BTHO LSU” Look in the middle of the image, the Ore City, Tx Police Dept just called them out. Im crying.

His senior year at trimble tech he did everything. The game vs wyatt there were 13 players suited up in the 2nd half. Only 2 on the bench, Claiborne did everything one player could

In the end wyatt won big. Ivey Suber, Mike Nelms etc etc were just too much

Wasn't the 74 game the one where Aggie screwed up the kickoff and we were up 14-0 before Aggie ran a play?
I want to say that aggy fullback Bucky Sam’s fumbled on one of their first plays from scrimmage and it was caught in the air by either Lionel Johnson or Bill Hamilton and returned for a touchdown!

I forgot about the dog cemetery scoreboard. It was even funnier when they had a corps turd stationed in the graveyard with a chalk board before they got the electronic version.

And "Highway Six goes both ways". What the heck is so revolutionary? One way goes to Waco, the other way goes to Bayou Vista!
“One dog goes East, one me dog goes West. What’s the big deal?”
