It's about the money...they know Texas has a contingent that WILL travel, even with mediocre teams.

Cannot help but wonder if the chatter about skipping the NIT weighed in the decision, given some money versus no money.

It’s a conspiracy to keep Texas locked in mediocrity in basketball. The rest of the $ec wants to try and tie CdC’s hands. Didn’t work in baseball anc ultimately won’t work here. If Beard had simply avoided an avoidable pitfall, CdC would have Sark, Schloss, and Beard in the big 3 and then women’s volleyball, basketball and softball. Right now Terry is the only drag.
