Tournament Terry--that's his name!

Terry has instilled solid defense, hustle, and a winning attitude in this team. I sure am glad we have him as our Coach. We're going places--I can guarantee you that much.
 
RT has to prove himself every game he coaches. He’ll never be good enough for some people. He can’t coach. He can’t do this or that. He’s not the guy.
Evidently he knew what buttons to push at halftime against aggy to get his players to step on up to give them the opportunity to pull out the win.
Thank goodness he and his team accomplished that feat.

Congrats to RT and the Texas Longhorns !

He's 2-5 against ranked opponents this year. I guess thats good enough for some people. BUT, the 2 wins came in the last two games so maybe they're getting hot. I guess we'll find out when he goes to play the guy who should still be our head coach. The guy who took over a traditionally below .500 program and has them ranked 16th in his second year.

We’ll never know how things would’ve worked out with Beard and Texas Basketball. I’ll continue to think we would’ve won a National Championship and still be on top of the round ball world.
Who is the person out there to take us to the promised land.

Beard also would have done well, but he has a propensity to choke.
 
@Chop i can’t tell if you are really serious here or not. Granted I threw in the towel at halftime. But I went back and watched the miracle comeback late yesterday. You have to admit we got lucky that Tre went off (finally) and we rode that momentum. I agree the team hasn’t quit on Terry and is showing some moxy but they spend way too much time looking lost.

I stayed faithful to Shaka with you till the end and tried to stand behind Terry as long as I could but this program needs to go a new direction.

I too have had moments of denial in my lifetime. But I admire your positive outlook. It’s a better way to live life.

I hope you're right. I have low confidence against Ole Miss on Wednesday because Beard will be out for blood, but should be able to rack up wins against LSU, Arky, USC, OU & Georgia. Vandy just knocked off back to back top 10 teams so they'll be a tough W in Nashville and the Bama, KY and Miss State games will be tossups leaning to L's. I'm going to say we have more like a slightly above .500 W/L with some possible upside.
 
Terry's measureables as head coach at Texas....edited thru the Georgia embarrassment.

Year 1
22-8 overall, 12-6 conf, 2nd place in conference, NCAA tourney Elite 8, inherited a Final 4 quality team

Year 2
21-13 overall, 9-9 conf, 7th place in conference, NCAA tourney 2nd round

Year 3 so far with 2 games left
16-13 overall, 5-11 conf, 13th place in conference, we're not making the NCAA tourney.

See any trends? Now best case we end 17-14, 6-12. We're toast and the not bad talent level team will bolt. I am certain CDC has a plan.
