I don't get this 10 frosh and sophomore starter thing. Yes that tells me they are young but look at UT's roster:
Irby - Soph
Hix - Soph
Huey, Burnette, Allen - all sophs
McGee - Soph or Whitt - Frosh
Johnson - Frosh
Williams or Buckner - frosh
Kirkendoll or Collins - soph
Thomas or Scott - both Frosh
Gideon or Brewster or Wells - all frosh
Chy Brown - soph
Texas has just about as many starters and key backups that are true frosh, RS frosh, or Soph's. Texas has a more experienced passing QB (Colt), 2 very experienced WR's (Quan and Ship), a couple experienced veteran OL (Adam and Dock), a very experienced DL (Rack, Miller, Houston, Lewis), a 40 game starter in Bobino. But they counter all of that with youth and inexperience. This entire season is about UT gaining experience and growing as a team to be ready for 09....though I hope they do well this year as well. I just don't like the argument in any game that Texas plays that they are more experienced or an older team than their opponent....or vice versa.
