Those of you who have never worked in journalism might restore your equilibrium a tad by reading h.l. Mencken or a biography of him. He spent his life in the trade and was one of the tops for decades. His attacks on FDR were lacerating and his insights on the press dead on.

Several will only glance at the headline and move on. Unfortunately, those who read the story in its entirety will get the MSM slant - based on the MSM interpretation of the real facts (at least the facts they choose). The MSM will conveniently ignore the facts that don't match their desired slant.
You have to remember what a "cut" is. To normal people, it means spending less money on something than you did before. In Washington, D.C., it means spending less than the projected increase in spending.
For example, if budget legislation projected to spend $1T on Social Security in '22, $1.2T in '23, and $1.4T in '24, but Congress intervenes and decides to only spend $1.35T in '24, they've "cut" Social Security, even though they're spending $50 billion more than they did the year before and $350 billion more than they did 3 years earlier.
Just wait until the kids who got "educated" with Common Core math start running these budget agencies. It'll be a **** show. Nobody will know how much we're spending on anything.

Most people don't, but we can at least look at the data and get a pretty good idea. Most people just don't think to do that, and the media never gives it to them straight. However, when the CC idiots are in charge, they won't even know how to add things up well enough to create the data.

They will never admit the reality of the situation. The profiling that occurs is born from the repeated characteristics and personality of chronic criminals. When five black cops act in this manner, and the media is unable to accept the reality of the criminal element, then we see the real fraud that has occurred in our country. Not at the election booth, but instead in the deliberate distortion promulgated by the media.
