The soliloquy between Trump and Macron was kind of interesting

At the NATO meeting Tuesday in London, Trump went looking for Macron who had earlier called NATO ‘brain dead.’ Sitting next to Macron, Trump brought up another sore spot for France: the repatriation of ISIS fighters.
“And they are all under lock and key but many are from France, many from Germany and many are from the UK. They’re mostly from Europe. And some of the countries are agreeing. I have not spoken to the president about that. Would you like some nice ISIS fighters? I can give them to you. You can take every one you want.”​

Macron deflected --
“it is true you have a current fighters coming from Europe. But it’s a minority problem of the overall problem we have. And I think the number one priority because it is not yet finished is to get rid of ISIS.
“And it is not done, I’m sorry to say that. Your number one problem are not the foreign fighters, it is the ISIS fighters in the region and you have more and more of these fighters due to the situation today.”​

Trump replied --
“It’s why he is a great politician. That was one of the greatest non-answers I’ve ever heard and that’s okay.”​
 
^^^Surprised Shifty didn't add that to the impeachment report. Must be impeachable to talk like that to another <GASP!> world leader.

I am not so sure about this one -- these have to be among the 3 most-hated companies in America right now -- why protect them?

So while the bully that we elected to go over there and pick their pockets had his hand into their pockets up to his elbow and was rummaging through their wallets to get them to pay more for NATO so that we would pay less, do you think that as he was pickpocketing them they were thinking, 'Ha ha! I laugh at the United States?'" Adams doesn't think so, and neither do I...."​

Think of how much it must suck to have to hate good economic news
But this is the position they have put themselves in
They hate that wages are rising
They hate that employment is up
They hate that minority unemployment is at historic lows
They hate that inflation is numb
They hate that the stock markets is showing approval
They hate that the deconstruction of the administrative state and reduction of regulation is helping the economy
They hate that we are not in a recession
They hate that targeted tariffs against China did not tank the US econ

They actually believe that this is just a continuation of Obama's "great" economy.
