Well they took my advice and started throwing more...and especially those 8 or 9 yd routes we leave wide open

That’s twice they have had a wide open receiver and ball was tipped at line. Nice to see that happen but db’s have got to stop releasing receivers to run free in soft zone.

I'll shut up and stay positive. We have looked like a better team the last few weeks...and the defense is definitely improving.
Just leaving waaay too much on the field on offense and seem to lack that killer instinct and ability to execute....and Sam just hasn't been sharp enough for weeks now.

Sam's passes are not crisp enough. the receivers need to adjust to the ball by coming back a little bit or jumping or just making sure your body gets in between the ball and the defender don't give the defender a chance to knock the ball down

Sam is throwing 59.6% for the year including today so far. He has a 57.0% completion rate in Big XII play. Not great.
