Texas vs. Stanford Game 3

Bellow starts out the ninth and tries to close it out.

Edman, the top of the order is up for Stanford from the right side.
The count runs full and this is a big pitch.
A ground ball to third and the 5-3 play is a big first out.

Branton has been on all four times today on two hits and two walks.
The right handed batter works another full count and another big pitch is his third walk of the game.

One on and one down for Winaker and he becomes the tying run.
The left handed batter singles through the hole on the right side to put the tying runs on.

Two on and one down for Dunlap batting right handed.
A chopper to Marlow and the 4-6-3 double play is made on a good turn by all involved and Texas wins!

Texas takes this third game of the series 3-1 and breaks it's four game losing streak and the eight game losing streak
to Stanford in Palo Alto.

Let's hear the post game and be back to sum it up a bit later.

--------------

Wilson and Goo sat to our left on a warm and sunny day at the Diamond.

A perfect day all around at the ballpark.

Now to even up the series on Sunday.
