Lead off single for ORU off Urban.
Then a walk puts the tying runs on.
That's it for Urban and here comes Duke in to pitch for Texas.

Pitching change for ORU.

Weis hit a sharp ground ball down the line that hits first base

as that was down line and would have probably scored Carter.
Payton hits a slow grounder to first. but the pitcher drops the
throw for an error that loads the bases.
Hinojosa grounds out to short though to leave them loaded.

After 7 innings Texas leads 3-1

Duke walks the lead off batter and here comes Skip to get him.
Ty Marlow in to pitch and you can bet Knebel is up and ready.
No doubt he will pitch the ninth if Texas can hold the lead.

Marlow is greeted by a single by Hinojosa to put the tying runs on
at first and second.
Once again ORU doesn't bunt and a fly to right is out one.
Pop up to second for out two.
Here comes Skip again and here comes Knebel to try and finish things off.

Knebel is once again on with more than one inning left. The worrisome thing about your offense only getting three runs in game like tonight is that Knebel's arm is used yet again for 1 plus innings and late in the year when that arm is tired it will be because of nights like tonight.

Wow, they post that all 3 inherited runners by Corey have scored and bang a triple scores these two inherited runners.

And as has happened more often this year Knebel gives up a triple over Payton's head that ties the game at 3.

Knebel walks the next batter.
Another walk loads the bases.
A ground out to short ends it in the top of the 8th for ORU.
Tied at three now.

Not good, your closer in throwing a lot of pitches in a tie game
with Conference starting Friday.

Bats need to come alive quickly against a pretty bad ORU team.

Moynihan K's swinging for out one.
Felts lays down a bunt and is thrown out for 2 away.
Marlow singles to the gap in right and it should have been a double
if he goes, was worth a shot with two outs to me.
Shaw came in for defense last inning and now has to bat.
He singles and moves Marlow to third, if only he had taken
second he would have scored.
Hall hits a ground ball up the middle and the second baseman
lets it go right under his glove.
I think they gave him a generous hit and an error for Shaw getting to third. and Texas regains the lead 4-3.
Shaw goes to third on the play. Runners on first and third with two away.
Pitching change for ORU.

Hall K's swinging to end the 8th for the Horns.
Texas leads again 4-3 and Knebel has a chance for a vulture win as they use to say.

Knebel blows a full count fastball by the hitter for a big out one.
Another high hard one K's the next hitter.
A big curve ball gets the last out a K looking to end the game.

Texas squeaks out a 4-3 win that they really needed because it would have been a bad loss that would have hurt the RPI big time.
