Texas vs Oklahoma state game thread

I don't believe in throwing players under the bus, but Herman needs to call Jones out for that totally dumb*** move on that punt if he is asked about it. He needs to say, " There is no excuse for a Senior to do that."
 
Gundy out gifted Herman in this one. We won’t get gifts like this the rest of the year, except possibly Lester

herman should not have had anyone back and once there was a kick no one 15 yards down field. Don’t let the players do something stupid at that point. It didn’t matter where we got the ball, just that we got it.
 
Anyone that thinks its a good idea to have a sliding fair catch should not be able to sleep in the dorm tonight. You sleep on a park bench and think about what you did. That may be the dumbest play of all time. Curry at least was in position to catch tghe ball. The stakes are different, but this was dummer.

I agree both punt turnovers we should have had nobody back, but since we did they have to be smarter than what Jones did....

I think the Horns out gifted osu. We turned the ball over three times. We made dumb penalties extending their drives multiple times.

This is the stupidest I've seen the horns play in a while. Yet we still won because our guys played with great heart. And Sam made a great scramble for the first down at the end.

Serious punishment needs to be dulled out. He doesn't need to be told it's ok. No it's not ok. You hurt yourself and you hurt your team. That wasn't a mistake like you just dropped a ball. That was the single dumbest play in UT history. Worse mentally than Curry's. I can't think of a mentally worse play unless someone ran the wrong way for a TD or something.
 
There was at least one single worst play in UT history. It was in the Cotton Bowl against Georgia. Fumbled punt cost a possible national championship.
 
While everyone is bashing brandon, he played a helluva game on defense. I'm assuming he was the general back there with caden out.

Count it as a coachable error. He'll be ok in that situation from here on. He's been a great safety all season

Craig curry. Swirling wind on a real cold day. He wasn't our normal return man.

I can think of a lot of "worst plays", but not many more that were I'll timed
 
I’ve done stupid things too, especially at that 18-25 age. I’m not judging him. He is a respected team mate and a captain, iirc. He’ll have a good season and redeem himself!
