Texas Vs. Louisiana Tech Game Thread

His first pass hit him right in hands on a crossing route with no one within 15 yards Sure TD. Glad he got it out of his system early.

There was some talk about LT not scoring 20 points and how Texas got lucky in terms of the 2 missed field goals.

Watching the game again right now. First, I have never been aware that 43 yard field goals are chip shots and givens. Second, it appeared that the first attempt was slightly blocked.

So, since I think the team practices that, having actually blocked the kick would be a good play and not just dumb luck that their kicker missed from 43.

Just saw the roughing the passer pick 6 negated play. Two Texas players literally ran into each other and fell and one rolled into Smith. Very horrible call.

impressed with balance of offense and esp Ingram, Devin, Colin, Sam and several on D....consider it was first game and understand there would be miscues.....better it was vs LTech

as a team they are already beyond last 2 years in terms of team performance. They will get much better as they develop more balance and aggressiveness

predicting 9-2 maybe 10-1

Thanks to Texas, OU, Clemson Georgia and a few others, the door is closing fast on Ala domination in recruiting / performance and will show in team championships...
