Can I ask a serious question?

What is our basic defensive scheme? How is it supposed to work?

From observation, we would seem to be playing something like a 3-2-0. There do not appear to be sufficient linebackers to shut down the run or cover backs or TEs, and the secondary drops into 2 deep soft zone regardless of down or distance.

Is this actually by design?

I'm less than expert on this subject myself and am sincerely just wondering what it is I'm looking at.

It's definitely a 3-2 with some weird job responsibilities for the other 6. It's a Manny Diaz wet dream with amorphous coverage and tackling jobs for the DBs.
