I thought Higgs was the quiet hero of this game. She was really solid in the 2nd quarter when we started to pull away. Her defense on Buckley in the 2nd half was excellent. She was the only defender that could both guard her on the 3point line and keep her from easy drives to the bucket. If she'd play defense like that from now on...she'd start getting a lot more minutes.
I really liked the 11 point run to end the 2nd quarter. Reminded me of Jody's glory days when her teams would put it into another gear right before the half and kind of break a team's will.
