Texas vs. Iowa State Game Thread

This team has gotten worse as the year has gone on. Save the tom herman or Charlie digs, the coaching on display has been awful. Disappointing, pathetic, weak, no imagination, incompetent. To think things will get to what our expectations should be with this staff is beyond fantasy

Matt Campbell could literally land any gig he wants at this point. Maybe he's holding out for Andy Reid's job or something.

Seems like, as a whole, the players would rather have "Coach Kiss Me" and be babied and allowed to lose, than man up and play lights out.

Just for kicks I just went to 247 Recruiting and looked at each year going back to 2016. From 2016 until 2021 they never finished above 6th in recruiting in the B12. They recruit 3* guys, only twice in that period have they had 4*, 1 one year and 2 the next. They currently sit at #4 for 2022 with two 4* and 16 3*.

"Five-star culture vs. five-star players"

Least the cowboys are good. Legit chance to make some noise in the playoffs. Gives me something to watch. Fish Saturday, football Sunday which is what I did last week. Lake I wanted to book was booked today or I'd have skipped this abomination.

I just don't know how we could go all-in on an offensive coordinator who can't coach offense. It's obvious that his success at Bama was due to them being Bama. No one was heaping praise on him in his Pac days. He's just... a dude.

Card had no idea where the LB was on that throw

At this point, I don't think that Card has much football smarts. Hope he's benched the rest of the season and transfers out. He might catch on with a program like SFA, or Sam Houston. But he doesn't look or act like a D1, Power 5 QB.

Mavs won. And once again we return a kick. Sark should get fired just for that stupidity. This game probably made sure Ewers won't even return a text from Sark.
