Missed the last 2 and 1/2 innings driving home from work, great read and great job NB. Can you believe this team is one win from Omaha, yeah neither can I but that is where they are!

So the same "MO" gets it done for Texas. Great pitching and enough offense to win.

Payton extends his on base streak to 100 games and has three hits, the big blow the first inning homer to get Texas off to the fast start.

Curtis is back in the groove and his movement seems to be coming back now after the TJ surgery. If you recall he had the best stuff on the staff as a freshman, before the surgery. Now he seems to be rounding back into that form.

The starting pitching is nails as it usually is and you really want to get it done tomorrow with French on the hill as your other proven starter.

But for the rest of the day it's time to enjoy this big game one win as the visitor in your own yard. Let's end it tomorrow in style as the home team.

Great win Horns. Thornhill was money, cougar runs came compliments of some fortunate bounces or they may have been shut out. Horns with 3 double plays which were huge. Let's close them out tomorrow.

From the TV view it was nice to be reminded that Texas just looks like a classic program. A no-fanfare uniform in a great looking ballpark. Yes I'm one to overstate body language, uniforms, venue, all that... just my nature. But Texas really is a class act in all ways. In all sports.
