Cannot explain this game. Imani with 0 pts??? Ariel with 22. Brooke didn't get her first field goal until 3rd qtr. Very strange day. But I'll take the win and shut up
 
Celina played 18 minutes of her 29 in the 2nd half (6 pts, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals). I don't know about you guys but I need an explanation for not starting her today. We looked out of synch the 1st half.

Ariel was fantastic all day! Empress and Kelsey played solid!!!!

Good to know that was the only reason Celina didn't start. Also good to hear that she didn't have attitude because of it either. THAT is the kind of teammate players should want. Doesn't surprise me. She's a great girl!
 
you have to find plays for Ariel . The post seem to just play terribly when we can't just force the ball into the post..
 
Celina missed the bus after shoot around today but Coach stressed it was no big deal but rules are rules. She actually suggested that Celina couldn't find the bus. Sounded like just a mistake so maybe she needs to chill a little on that rules thing IMHO. But coach knows best.

That makes sense! Rules are Rules! But we didn't look good without her on the floor in the 1st half. I say make them run!!! Don't hurt the team unless it a severe infraction.
 
Taylor injury is huge if she can't return by next week @ OU.
Both games Men and Women were ugly wins...So both our big posts were scoreless today and with foul trouble.....At least we won....

Yes. Rules are rules. But if what Karen said is true that "she couldn't find the bus"... I mean come on. I go into a grocery store for ten minutes and can't find my car. :smile1:
 
According the AAS post game story, Bri has a left ankle sprain, which really tells us nothing about when she will be back. Could be Wed or she could be out for a few weeks. Guess we will find out Wed nite how she looks during warmups.

I am hoping for a quick recovery from that painful sprain.

This is just a wild guess....but I'm guessing your car is not in the grocery store...I'd bet it's in the parking lot.
