It is very hot today, got up to 99, but in this inning Jungmann just did not have it.

Hate to give up on this game, much less the entire season, but it would be a shame if that was the last time we saw TJ pitch in a Longhorn uniform.

Jungmann out of the game, 7 runs on 8 hits, 2 walks and 3 k's. McKirahan in to pitch. He gave up a hit but the runs belong to Jungmann. Kent State 7 Texas 2. Kent State still batting.

Inning over, 6 runs for Kent State, all charged to Jungmann. I think that is the most runs he has ever given up? You cannot expect him to throw shutouts every game.

Jungmann gave up 13 earned runs all year before tonight. Tonight he gave up 7.

I am not shocked by this. Jungmann was due for a bad game and Texas is not a decent hitting team but they still won 44 games playing small ball.

It will be tough to get out of losers bracket for Texas due to their lack of hitting. Kent State has several good pitchers if Texas can get past Texas State which has a good offense.

It looks like another disappointing year..............lots of talent but nothing to put teams away if our pitching is the least bit off. We get great pitching but Augie seems to think that we can Zen runs across the plate.

This game is over and the fat lady is singing loudly. This team just can't hit, period. No way our pee wee batters produce enough runs to win three straight in this regional.

Well this sucks. Taylor has his one bad outing of the year and the Texas offense continues a season long craptastic performance.

Well if cant win three in a row against Tx sState and Kent State tomorrow and Monday then dont deserve to go to super regional.

Kent St...really? What a joke! We don't deserve to advance to the supers if we can't win a game against a 3 seed in our regional.

Kent State has a very good offense, defense and great pitching. Maybe they should not have been a 3 seed? I agree with what everyone is saying, I am hearing they are bringing in hitters next year? Pitching OK to great, Offense needs help, I have heard that every week this year. No Power hitter on the team

Our leading hitter (or close to it?) leads off the ninth, and today he's 0 for 2, with a Sac Bunt and a Walk.
