Skye Messinger continues to snap out of his slump with two hits and a walk already today, bringing his batting average up to the high 200s. He was hitting well into the 300s at KU—I expect he’ll get there this year too.

Gordon is more than capable of being the three, heck if Stevens hadnt come back he was on track to be the three spot starter. Now DuPlantier needs to step up Tuesday so Texas can nail down its weekend and midweek rotation as they start conference play in Lubbock next Friday.
