UNC first team to punch their ticket to the CWS. Then dogpiles. Thought they had been there before.
 
Dudes on TV said Arizona state is out of pitching? Texas has Stafford to start, I would say that is a big advantage, now if Stafford pitches poorly.
 
As far as Mavs go, I am pulling for them but I think Heat take game 6. Hope I am wrong. I like Texas chances Sunday night for some reason.

In my particular case I awoke at 5:30 am this morning with my family and left our home in deep south Texas to make the 5 hour drive to Round Rock for the 12:00 noon start of the 5A Championship. Watched my Alma Mater Brazoswood capture our third State Championship. Great Day! BUT....

Due to obligations back home was unable to attend the game tonight like I'd hoped, so after visiting briefly with mom and dad (who were going to the game) we had to get back on the road. During the drive the wife's iphone wasn't getting good reception, so following you guys on here was my only insight to the game for much of the drive, mostly the middle innings and I got the news of the dinger here before the iphone decided to rejoin civilization..

I'm sure there are others out there in similar situations too. Anyway, just thanks

Had to watch the game at sportsbar tonight so wasnt following the updates but just got home and read whole thread reliving game.

What a clutch performance by Horns defense and Etier's bomb brought cheer from whole bar (yes there are more than a few Texas Exes down here).

Stafford tomorrow gives Horns an edge but it will be another nail biter.
