My cool ASU football memory from years past:

I was working on a consulting gig in Tempe in 1996 (I think) and #1 Nebraska was in town for their game with the Sun Devils - another Husker victory was pretty much a foregone conclusion. I went to a local sports bar that morning at 9:00 (AZ time) to watch the 11:00 Horns vs Notre Dame game. Some Husker fans started strolling into the bar, sporting their colors and conducting themselves in a generally supercilious manner in advance of that evenings assumed thrashing of the Devils.

Long story short: ASU beat the Huskers 19-0 in Sun Devil Stadium that night and Tempe went batshit. It was cool.
