Texas @ Texas A&M

Watching some of Georgia/Georgia Tech game and they mentioned aTm leads the nation in 3-point shooting at 45% while talking about the upcoming game with Texas. Let’s hope that works out as well for them as it did for Stanford

Pitts is the sniper! Get in her face.

I'm at Cynts bar today. Pot roast, potatoes and carrots on the menu. Plus Tropicana pineapple and mango juice with a splash of Peach Ciroc.

RORI! Clutch! Ice in my vains! I'm a baller whether I start or come off the bench!

Looking good this first half. I am a Rori fan! Gaston looked really good this first half. Hopefully she's getting her mojo back.

I'm glad the Aggies went cold, but afraid they won't stay that way. I hate the way we let them drive around us for baskets. But our D was mostly really good. It helped when Gaston started hitting. Can't wait till we get Moore and Hunter back. (Don't know that much about Kobe.)

Uh Oh Letting agroid back in with stupid fouls.

Could sure use Moore with Gaston and Ebo both in foul trouble.

That’s how it’s done! Matharu is just a gem, It’s starting to click for Gaston, Rori was great and really dictated this game, and Holle has definitely earned more playing time. She hit some really clutch shots when we were in a slump.

My favorite stat: 7 turnovers to 19 for ags

Least favorite stat: 58% at the Free Throw line (and they padded it at the end of the game or it was going to be even worse)

Looks like my worries about the guard matchups was all for nothing. Outstanding game by Matharu and Harmon and great team win!

Just imagine this team with Moore and Hunter back! Moore would’ve killed on the offensive glass and Hunter would have really lit up that terrible zone aggies decided to go with. So much depth and talent on this team so hopefully everyone comes back soon.

I really did not expect our ladies to win this game. I thought it would be another "teaching experience" but they came to win and win they did. Appears that Vic and Rori may have had a few long "come to jebus" discussions as she played more in control and apparently ran the plays that Vic wanted. I thought it was interesting that in the fourth qtr. Rori stood at the midline and Vic directed the other players to the positions he desired and then Rori ran the play. I thought everyone played well. I watched without the sound on. I'll watch again and see what the announcers had to say. I suspect they were biased toward aggy but whatever.

Great win for our team! I love a super quiet Reed Arena!

Our team played harder. Our team played smarter. Well-earned victory for Vic, his staff, and the players.

And, this win helps the in-state recruits know what's up! :hookem2:

No one has mentioned Audrey yet (I don't think). I thought she was great today; perhaps her best game of the season. 9 rebounds (5 offensive); 4 points; 1TURNOVER; 3 assists; and most importantly only 2 fouls. Took at least 1 charge.

She played smart; she played in control. That's the kind of senior leadership and production we need from her.

Not sure if it was directly related to Audrey's play and demeanor, but the entire team seemed poised all game long; never flustered; never upset with the officiating. Just kept their focus; all business today in College Station.

Shay Holle, I've been one of your hardest critics and doubters. Today you showed what you are capable of contributing. Those two 3-pointers were huge and timely.

I did say in the past that if she could become a consistent 3-point shooter, that would be her biggest weapon offensively as her length, especially on the defensive end, separates her from our other wing players.

You want more playing time? Keep contributing in a positive way when you are given the opportunity in the game, and you will get rewarded.

Someone is going to have to tell me what kind of offense we ran today because I really liked it. Didn't seem like there was much of that dribble-drive / weave offense today. I felt like it was what I had been begging for most of this season -- less dribbling, more passing and ball reversal.

Rori with 9 assists, and only 2 turnovers despite not being in the starting lineup. Her 3-pointer to end first quarter was a huge momentum builder, and seemed like our energy just took off the rest of the game.

We made a conscious effort to feed the low post with Ebo and Gaston. Worked well when they were on the floor.
