Very business like win. For the most part everyone did their job.
On a different note I thought Kentucky was impressive today. Will take a good road effort on our part. I apologize for being late to the party, didn't know they were that good.

😴 Aggy sure has slipped.

Granted, a 5:00 tip off on a Sunday is unusual, but the crowd seemed surprisingly smaller than I expected. .

You can't let Georgia Amore go off like that when she's hot. Slow her down and you slow Kentucky down. (Now I got it. Sorry, am somewhat tech-tarted)

Nice to see the team go on the road and very effectively and efficiently take care of business. Everyone who played significant minutes did some good things that contributed to the win.

Aggies: Resigned now to assimilation. Resistance failed. Exactly like AISD, decades ago, resigned to Eanes.

Post-game presser. Discouraging comments about Amo's timeline to return, and at the very end really interesting comments about the freshman and in particular Carlton.

Explains a lot about Lee's emergence and Carlton's near disappearance.

We've heard Vic talk like this about multiple young players in the past. Most of them have figured out the necessary intensity level required, but a few have transferred to places like Tech and aggy.

In the post-game presser, it was interesting to hear Vic speak to the four-guard analytics and how successful the team is with that lineup. His manner says he doesn't quite believe it. Hopefully, the smaller lineup becomes even more of a fixture as time progresses.

I keep shaking my head about Justice. In non-conference games, she looked like she was coming along, but in conference games she has appeared to be a step or two behind. I hope she figures it out and doesn't contemplate the transfer portal.

I'm not sure what to think.

We also lost Gaston and Muhammed. If either were still on the team we wouldn't have such reliance on a true freshman to fill-in for Amo's injury.

Hopefully, Justice will keep her chin up, turn up the intensity and prosper. Taylor Jones would be a good mentor.

It seems like Amo is really trying to help Justice come along, that's also a good role model for the youngster.

Everyone might have a different opinion of what Schaefer said or meant about Carlton. I think I heard him insinuate that Carlton is fine on offense. It’s the defense she needs improvement. She’s never gonna be super quick. So she needs to anticipate better and other things Schaefer wants. Everyone can see she’s a step slow right now, and she’s got strong torso, so she needs to be better fundamentally/positionally so she gets to average performance defensively in the SEC.
