Ags lost their best player to a season-ending knee injury. This should be a very winnable game, but one never knows. We've looked really tired and sluggish the last two games, but have shown a lot of guts and grit to get the job done anyway.

I’m nervous only because I know how much this means to Aggy. They will give us their best game simply because it is us. And the fans will be rowdy and particularly nasty to our players and the refs. I’m not impressed with their coach who has done about as little with A&M as she has did with Georgia. She followed legendary coaches at both schools and really underperformed.

My gut says we’ll slaughter them, but my head says we are in for another roller coaster ride.

It will be interesting to see former Longhorn, Kendall Hunter. We had such high hopes for her. She’s not doing much in the way of stats for A&M it seems, averaging 5 points and 14 minutes.

Of course we’ll never really know, but I think more players have or have had the flu in the past week than we realize. Andrea all but said Vic has it. This road game will be a test no matter any injury or health concerns. Aggy men just lost to Texas in a heartbreaker and what else is there for a bloodthirsty cult to do in CS than go scream your lungs out and insulting Texas WBB players on a Sunday evening for redemption and bragging rights over a Top 5 team when your season is firmly in the crapper?

Who is the Aggie player that injured her knee, and when did this happen? I was just wondering how recent this injury was. I think they beat Kentucky, Mississippi recently didn't they?

She got injured during the LSU game I believe. Right after they beat Kentucky. And then they lost to bottom of the barrel Arkansas.

The aggy team is proof Vic doesn't know anything about managing personnel. Remember when Hunter was going to be great and gonna shoot 50% from 3, but Vic would only give her a few min per game? Now she's lighting up the scoreboard for aggy and may be SEC player of the year. Proof the fans know more than Vic.

Oh Wait.:idk:

I think this aspect of things gets overblown. Not saying aggy doesn't care, but instead, aggy LIVES for this game. As such, they often get themselves so psyched up, it actually harms their execution.

In short, aggy chokes against Texas far more often than not.

True. I just hope they don't get so psyched up they try to hurt one of our players. We know aggy FB has done it. I just hope they don't have players as dirty as LSU.

I was looking over their lineup. I had forgotten that Hunter transferred there. Some surprises.
1. Out of 10 players with stats this year, Hunter is next to last in playing time.
2. The fact they had (only) 10 players with stats. Went back and counted they had 11 players. That player who hasn't played is Saidu. She must be out for the season.
3. Factor in they lost Coulibaly (second most minutes on the team), means that they have 9 players.
4. Saw familiar name Lauren Ware. She was a start at AZ, but I think she butted heads with her coach?

Good for us. Short bench. Need all the advantages we can get.

I don't think we will actually need any special advantage. This is a bad, short-handed team. We're going to treat them like the aggy they are.

The Boutilier scratch is odd. Odd in that in the last home game the rarity of seeing her out of her sweats and actually going through warmups was so rare that several people pointed it out.

Of course she wasn't going to play. But she did....jog and shoot along with her other teammates for the first time this year.

And then to be shut down this game? Must be flu.

Up by 10 end of 1st Q

Jak and Jordan both have two fouls which is a little concerning but Jones and Oldacre came out unscathed

Well, that first half was relatively stress-free. Odd not to have to resort to booze, marijuana or other various and sundry illicit drugs to get through a half. So happy. Keep it up, gals! :yippee:

Another good win. Keep it going. One game at a time. Don’t overlook Vanderbilt. Next Sunday versus South Carolina will be here soon enough.
