Texas-OU Pt 2 Game Thread

Part of this is on Sam and the receivers. Guys gotta get open and he has to make throws. He's just not seeing the field. It would also help if the RT didn't get owned.

No chance to beat blowu and the officials. Conference officials=ousux and will stop at nothing to get them in the playoff. It is going to get worse.
What's wrong with the refs. I haven't seen a blown call yet. What I've seen are blown coverages, no pass rush, blown blocks, and Sam not making good decisions.

Those points are on Herman. After the penalty you have to run clock. Could have left them with about 35 seconds if we run the ball twice. If we are not going to rush Murray there is no chance

Relax...we are paying a ton of money to Orlando to have a defense....

Part of the issue though is you are playing a once in a decade QB. He's faster than Vic and much more accurate. He's just a bugger to manage. If Herman runs on 2nd down, D holds them to 13. That should be more than enough. O has got to start making more plays downfield and put the ball in the end zone. Personally this one feels over, but I sure hope the players don't have my attitude. Someone will have to make a huge play on D, get some turnovers, or we won't win. At this point I'm concerned we'll get blown out.

Other than the last score, D has played pretty well. A couple stops and forced FG attempts should be enough to beat ou. Too many failures to capitalize by the O.

Normally I do not get too excited on this issue but after seeing the mixed call on the OU offensive lineman movement, and no holding calls, I have to wonder if the linesman official is where the game will be won by OU.

Hager seems completely ineffective today. The dude needs to shut up, keep his composure, and do something. I’m tired of the antics with little to show for it.

Pi on Collin Johnson suspect at best, not sure that was a hold on jones not that it mattered. Completely missed movement on ou left tackle on fourth down play. Boyd second penalty away from the play when the receiver fell down on his own. Didn’t see on the Hager penalty so can’t say on that one. I’ll give that the pi call on ou on johnson’s Catch ws a non-call.

Absolutely imperative we get blowu off the field without any points to start the half or this one will pretty much be over. Riley's decision to take the 2nd-half kickoff looks like genius right now.

Just bad coaching and okay calling. We only scored 14 points against one the worst defenses in the country

There D came ready to play. Front 4 is getting all kinds of push. Sometimes rushing 3 they have gotten pressure. We aren't going to be successful throwing into 8 man coverage is Sam is pressured too. Just no way to be successful essentially playing 12 men if they get pressure with 3.

If so, Herman blew the game with his clock management decisions at the end of the half.

Am i the only one who saw OU pretty much settling for a FG with 30 secs left? They ran it up the middle with 0 timeouts and didnt appear to be in any hurry. That clock stoppage on hager was huge. Def looked like they were going to just run one more play til they attempted a FG. smh

1. Missed false start
2. Rushing 3 on that entire last drive
3. All the damn penalties...
