Texas-OU Pt 2 Game Thread

Having a stretch receiver would also open up for opportunities for those two as well.
Duvernay is a speed receiver. I think a couple of freshmen are pretty fast. And the incoming freshmen, especially the kid from Arizona, will push early for playing time. This should help the explosiveness. And the OC/QB coach must design a more creative use of the whole field (middle of the field) in the passing game, and open up more ways to get the RB's to the edge.

More breathless misses to me were the wide open misses to Beck over the middle. The long ones I more or less forgave because of history but the sure tight end tds - those REALLY hurt.

IMO Sam is better / generally more consistent on the short to mid-range passes than long stuff. I like how he threw more to the TE this season than what we've seen in a LONG time.

I have thought for some time the OC doesn't run enough pass plays with more medium crossing routes, short crossing routes, wheel routes, pick plays that are not pick plays, TE & Flanker drags and such. Combine some of these with bootleg and play action me says.
