Texas-Kansas Game Thread

Nice win, Sark & Horns! Total domination from the start. 2 complete halves and 4 quarters. Truly All Gas and never let KU up off the mat.

Not entirely perfect, but like the win against a much improved KU team. Next week is another big one - Baylor and Aranda are a good group. Go enjoy this W and start getting ready for the home finale next week!

Hopefully we knocked enough rust off Jalen Daniels for him to go beat Kansas State.

Great win. Bijan is best player on the field. What a special back. We will miss him more next year than we can understand at this point.

I guess it is the same as if you go out of bounds on your own you can not come back in and catch or advance the ball[/
Color commentator guy I really liked … former Oregon coach … before game I was afraid Brando and Tillman would be on the call

I never knew on kick off return guy could put left foot out of bounds and touch kick off ball in bounds and it’s penalty as if kick went out of bounds …
I don't believe that is true.

My hope is we have far better QB, TE, and receiver play.

I'm really impressed with the Texas defense. The defense has come a long way this season, and they are dominating the KU offense big time. Lots to look forward to for next season.

So on that Jumbo package score with one second left, Byron Murphy and Koburn were the the fullbacks and just blasted it open. Sweat was a tight end too. That makes me happy

This reminds me a lot of our 69-31 win at Kansas State two years ago.
* disappointing season even though our W-L record looked alright (6-3 vs 7-4)
* beleaguered coach fanbase is unsure about
* cold November road game in the state of Kansas
* coming off a single-digit, low-scoring home loss
* we're expected to win but most of us expected a close contest, instead it turned into a blowout
** one of the few blowout conference road wins in the present "recovery period" that made me feel like this is how the Texas teams from 2000-2009 would have handled this game
* dominant running game with multiple backs putting up big numbers
** 2020: Bijan 172 yds, 3 TD. Roschon 139, 3 TD.
** 2022: Bijan 243 yds, 4 TD. Brooks 108 yds, 2 TD.
