I would include Dr. Pepper, and Six Flags.
As far as rodeos go, Ft. Worth is the oldest indoor rodeo in the world. It is also the first rodeo to ever be broadcast live on the radio, and it is the longest running rodeo in the world. It runs for 17 days. Ft. Worth also introduced 'half time' or entertainment to the rodeo, having Gene Autry perform in the 40s. It was also the first rodeo broadcast on live tv, in 1958. Houston may be bigger as far as prize money goes today, but I would say that the Ft. Worth Livestock Show and Rodeo is more of a TX institution. Especially given that Ft. Worth is where the west begins, and it's much longer history as a cattle town.
