Texas-Georgia Game Thread

Good coaches know when's when. We're way past pulling the fire alarm on this one. If Daddy Saban can pull a Heisman finalist in favor of the freshman backup against UGA, then Sark needs to show he has the cojones to do it as well.

The D needs to get back to that attitude from the first two drives. They're flailing right now, especially Hill.

I've had this sick feeling all year that the Horns aren't as good as the media was making them out to be. The MSU game and last week's 1st qtr scared me.

GA is punking us in our own house and making all those fears come true now.

We seem to have lost the offensive narrative before this even started. Wisner shouldn't be getting the ball every ******* play.

My uninformed opinion is that the OL isn’t up to the task tonight. So it wouldn’t matter much if Manning is in there.

Oh yeah, another short punt.

I don't mind losing a great game but we are not playing a great game. Give all credit to Georgia for showing up tonight ready to play ball.

Well obviously how?
If you think the office is problems is due to Ewers you’re not watching the same game that I am. Our offensive line and defensive lines are not getting the job done. We can’t run and our receivers are covered, and the quarterback has very little time.

QE isn't getting it done. If nothing happens next series, Arch needs to come in.

The simple fact is that Ewers is still not where he needs to be after the injury.

Time to see among all the thousands of students at Texas to have tryouts for a punter. No reason we have to go to Australia and find one. Ridiculous!!

Some of you seem to have forgot how much better Arch's speed is. Sure it wasn't against this Georgia team, but he damned sure would've escaped at least two of these sacks.

But I just can't see Sark pulling Ewers in a game like this. That has draft implications and I'd really be surprised if he did that to him.

Georgia knows Ewers can’t beat them downfield and they are not scared of him running, so press coverage and the d-line just teeing off.

If this is truly Quin's team he has to play better or this game is lost.:bevo:
This isn’t nor should it be any player’s team. It is a team. And coach is responsible for managing what is going on. And what is going on is that Ewers is being destroyed out there.

Quinn has the same look on his face as when TCU came to town two years ago and ripped him to shreds. He's lost and doesn't know what to do.

I think that is correct. And I think that Arch is far better getting the ball downfield, Short runs and short passes won’t get us back in the game.
