I whipped this up just 'cause it's fun:
Dear Texas A&M Fan,
Really?
Besides the tantrum Mr. Liucci threw (tweet about Texas being bowl eligible) you are directly accusing recruits BY NAME of taking money just because they committed to The University of Texas? You are apparently unable to assimilate the facts of your own situation. We’ve read about two 5-star quarterbacks who transferred from A&M but maybe the reasons are substantially alarming enough that the word has spread about some sort of cancer that apparently exists in the football program. And maybe it’s a very real concern. Wouldn’t you wonder?
Texas while admittedly in a trough is clearly building a program starting with the incredible accomplishments of last year’s freshman recruits. New recruits see how they can play right away. You made a big splash by moving to the SEC and struck gold with Johnny Football but now things have fallen apart. The buzz of the move is gone. You threw your best shot with momentum and now you have to accept the reality that you are still an average at best program in the conference (just like you were in the Big 12). What’s the sales pitch? Bragging about the SEC? Really? You were so desperate last week you were gloating about your own de-commit (Irvin Smith) that became an Alabama (you know, the big mountain you have to climb) lean because that commit didn’t go to Texas!
And Texas is still Texas; the flagship university in the state and a place to get a great education.
Also, I’ve noticed some shots taken at the city of Austin and Liberals in general. Without giving away my political leanings, I wonder why you would do such a thing. I assume that when you say such things that it means you are not a big fan of our President. Well, did you know that 93% of black voters voted for Obama? I wonder if I even have to explain further. Do you think you can fill in the blanks for what I am saying? If you need help with this and why your insults towards Liberals might not be helpful for your football program then get back with me and I’ll be happy to give you a primer.
Let’s review some historical facts just so you understand why people might chuckle a bit at your self-image (delusions of grandeur):
1) Your last national championship was the year Germany attacked Poland
2) The series record against Texas is 76-37-5 in Texas’ favor
3) The last time you played, Texas won at Kyle Field in what was probably the biggest game ever in the rivalry from your stand-point because you could just taste that scoreboard and middle-finger you wanted to give Texas and the Big 12.
4) The two stretches of success during the modern era (Jackie Sherrill and RC Slocum) were both followed by an investigation that uncovered NCAA violations. So you cheated. And congratulations, you made this list:
http://athlonsports.com/college-football/15-unethical-college-football-programs
5) You moved (I’m being generous by not saying “ran away) to the SEC, put some signs up around Austin declaring it to be “SEC Country.” You immediately imputed the football legacy and glory of the SEC upon yourselves BEFORE YOU EVEN PLAYED A GAME. Who acts like this? Let me answer that: YOU DO.
6) The Chancellor of your university system tried to be funny by saying something like Texas was going to sell alcohol in the stadium during games because the fans needed a drink to watch bad football and Aggies don’t need to do that; like your fans don’t tail-gate and party before, during and after the games. It was a lame joke at best. But he’s in charge; so, you at least have that going for you.
There are other points to be made but I think I’ve covered enough to make any rational person wonder about your bravado and why you believe you are an elite program. Remember, as John Wooden once said:
“Never mistake activity for accomplishment”

Sometimes I wonder how yall manage to live in Texas, with these farmers around. I got out, and never have to see any of them here in California (as the farmers don't last outside Texas much, so there's hardly any of them around). So we have 23 now? Had stupid meetings at work and I get the unfortunate honor of being seated next to my boss that's a sheep raper fan. So I have been using my lunch break to catch up. Dang stupid meeting!
I would have given you 3 likes for that open letter if I could
I've been waiting on him I think we still have a shotThey also say over there that Smith is wavering and that it's good for them.
If he is rethinking things, I would bet it would mean good news for Texas.

Yeah, I had posted late last night about stuff that came up on the horns247 boards with 2 guys posting that they had heard from player sources about somebody who had quietly visited and was thinking over it (one said that "it was the top rated recruit for another school, and not just any school", and later asked 247 to delete the thread, and the other one said the player was at least 60-40 in our favor). The last part that the first poster said fits perfectly, if it is Kelly. EJHolland also confirmed soon after that he had heard something and was tracking it down. Nobody would say anything moreMalik Jefferson has been saying there would be a big thing happening around 8 pm, on his periscope feed.
I think that Kelly has to be it, Malik has been pretty solid in his predictions.
Caleb Kelly? he didn't even visit, did he?
I usually just set an alarm to remind me to re-tense and re-distract about 15 minutes before.i mean, don't get me wrong...i wouldn't kick a 5-star to the curb or slam the door in their face...but i need to do some work. now i have to be all tense/distracted until 8pm?
Smith or Kelly likely, right? I don’t know of any others still on the board.McCulloch just tweeted that "we are up to #6 on scout and we're not done yet". So, maybe Smith is indeed in play.
