Truly an amazing game. I hope to never see another one like it.

Can't say enough about this pitching staff. Wood turned in the single greatest pitching performance I've ever seen from a collegian. And, as a team, I'd say that Ruffin, Wood and Dicharry delivered the best combined pitching performance I've ever seen--two runs on eight hits through TWENTY-FIVE ************* INNINGS. Incredible.

Hats off to B.C. The Eagles would not break.

Also, kudos to that crowd for hanging in there. Turnout could've been better, but those who showed up ... stayed ... and that had to make a huge difference, especially for our pitchers.

The greatest individual pitching performance and probably the greatest pitching staff performance in a single game ever.

Wood deserved better. It bears repeating that he went 12 scoreless and hitless and then 13 scoreless innings. That is beyond description. Discharry was dominantin his five innings of work too.

The offense was beyond putrid but gets saved by incredible pitching to make the championship game with the win.

Hopefully this is the event to make this team get on the run they need to get to Omaha and challenge for the seventh NC.
