That was not Geno's inning. And his pitch count is getting pretty high. He'll probably only go 5 innings today.
 
Jack--after 11 pitches, Jack pops up high behind the catcher, and the catcher drops it!!!

Doesn’t seem to matter as Thomas keeps his streak alive and then Thomas proceeds to get thrown out at 2nd. Is that the second time in as many tries that JT has been thrown out?
 
Thomas caught stealing 2nd. The throw was fast and the tag right on. It did not appear to me that Thomas was noticeably slowed down by a pulled/strained back or whatever his ailment is.

This is a good catcher. Maybe we should just steal against so-so catchers or worse...

In that inning, Geno pitched efficiently. He may have 6+ innings in him, instead of 5. We'll see.
 
and someone suggested we save Gordon for a later game :rolleyes1: ......this Kansas team seems to play us tough, we may not pull this game out but Gordon is the only reason we are still in this game.
