Texas-Baylor Game Thread

Until we start calling different plays, the results probably aren’t going to change. I’m surprised that after last week, Herman doesn’t get that. Disappointing.

Do Herman/Beck know something about Baylor's tendencies to constantly run sideways plays? Did it work for OU last week or something? It seems like we're guaranteed to lose 2+ yards every time we do that.

Every team in the country knows how to defend the Texas bubble screen. Time to either change it up; fake it and go long; or year that page out of the binder.
Yea, but that's on Sam too. 3 defenders, 2 blockers, wtf is he seeing pre-snap read? He is just clueless right now.

Baylor has fliped the field thanks to another failure by the Beck non-offense.
Tom has got to hire a someone for his offense. It sucks from the OC all of the way down to the guy sweeping the locker toom floor.

52 yd punt vs 19 yd punt. That'll flip the field.

I don't mind dropping 8 to help with our sour pass defense, but someone has to keep an eye in the backfield. Brewer is quicker than he looks.

This game kind of reminds me of the 2013 game at Floyd Casey. It's obvious who's in charge of the game, but they haven't done anything on the scoreboard to prove it yet.

They overload their line and we make zero adjustment. I feel for the players. With our coordinators/coaching they are playing with one hand tied behind their backs. Just sad.

Just watch the same train wreck week after week. Last game I enjoyed was LSU. Last game we played well in except for 3rd and 17 and the dropped TD. But hell at least the O looked like it had a clue. Right now Sam has no idea how to run an offense. Zone read he makes the wrong read 90% of the time. How is that possible?

Jones didn't use his arms at all. Not one little bit. Who teaches these guys how to tackle. That was as pathetic attempt at a tackle as I've ever seen in 50+ years of watching football.

I guess I'd rather they run on us because the clock won't stop as much.

That was a superb play call with the 2 pulling OL. If only we had someone capable of calling good, crafty runs.
