Texas - Baylor game February 29 Waco

They out scored us by 20 points and yet we ended that quarter with three timeouts on the clock. That is inexcusable
 
This is culmination of all the little things we have seen throughout the year. Texas has been beating teams with pure talent not offensive plan. They are poorly coached and not prepared. That sucks.
 
Baylor is playing really good defense; but, having Celina and Brianna on the court at the same time gives us only 3 offensive options, and the other 3 (regardless of who they are) are struggling to score.
 
well, we didn't look like the number two defensive team in the third. Fourth quarter's for pride at this time. Gonna have to beat Baylor if we want to be the champs. Reminds me of when we had so much trouble against A&M before we finally broke through against them. Looks like this is going to be a similar struggle before we get through the wall.

Equal ???? Baylor talent is 30 points better than us....Their guards are more athletic and can SCORE. Their bigs though young are more athletic than ours. We are overrated...Especially Boyette...She is tall and thats all...

I agree with you. It feels like our girls are giving up and don't know what to do. Karen needs to call a time out and regroup. We may not win this game but we don't have to quit fighting.

Baylor just has more talent than us this year. We need more shooters because we rely too much on Brooke to be able to generate our offense when Imani is struggling.
 
Run n Gun! That's what Brooke and Ariel are used to. Those are our best players! Get out in space and run!!! There must be discipline for Ariel and those stupid fouls. That type of play should be nipped in the bud immediately and it shouldn't last 2 years

I think the talent is pretty equal. Kim Mulkey created an offense that works for her talented guard heavy team.
 
Baylor doesn't let you have perimeter shots. The are in your face al the time because they are fast, long, and athletic. Recruiting !!!!!!

Celina and Brianna has done what they have all year, we get into trouble when we don't get scoring from our big 3! Brooke, Ariel and Imani! We just don't have enough movement in our offense, plus our bigs turn the ball over too much and miss layups. Wallace killed us and we didn't have an answer for her. We didn't switch our defense at all! Mulkey is just a better coach and we need to accept that. It's really not the players.
 
Not a single UT player really got hot offensively. Not much to feed off of unfortunately. Very good BU defense, but all the rushed shots and misses early left a lingering effect.

I'm still very excited about postseason play despite this disappointing loss.
