Texas at West Virginia Wed. Nite

Borrowing a phrase from Bull Durham, Ariel 'announcing her presence with authority!'
Imani with the double-double (15-14) and 6 blocks. 47.4% from the FT line as a team - has to improve.

I know it's an unfair comparison but, after seeing EDD shoot free throws, our young women need to simplify their FT habits. Free throws make me think of a golf swing - unnecessary motion can only hurt you. Lashann really needs to work on refining her approach, way too much bouncing up and down, dribbling.

Great first conference win of the year, and in a very tough place to get that done. Terrific effort, and what a performance by Ariel in only her 3rd game back. Love it!!!! :yippee:

well, considering that three of out top FT shooters went 4-10, it is not surprising that our FT shooting % was very poor. But I do not expect that to be a problem but rather that this game was an aberration.

I went with listening to Craig and Fran over the video stream. I enjoyed the broadcast a lot. I am happy with my choice. It never works for me to try to watch on the computer or the television and listen to the radio - the timing is never together and it just disturbs my ability to watch or listen effectively. I am so happy for the team. It sounds as if the team went with the game plan, stayed together (for the most part) and had success. Ariel is back? It sure looked like it tonight.

Great win. Really liked the energy we played with, especially to start the game. Our transition game early on was very smooth; everyone was making good decisions. Ariel was spectacular. If not for some untimely fouls under our own basket or stepping out of bounds, we get a few extra buckets and put the game away a bit earlier. Towards the end, better clock management was needed, along with better free throw shooting.
