After listening to these freshmen broadcast majors tonight, I'll never say a discouraging word about Lowell Galindo ever again. I promise.
They are awful!
Damn, I love it when we take the first game of a series. Makes me feel cocky and relaxed for the rest of the series.
Reminds me of the Rice announcers back in their heyday (2001-2003).
Especially when we don't go too deep into the bull pen. This sets us up quite nicely for the rest of the series.
These guys were lame, but it makes me think back to those student radio announcers for Quinnipiac in that regional we hosted years ago ("Hook ‘em high, like an eagle soars!"). Those guys were awesome, wonder what ever happened to them.
