What was Jody paid? Texas sure didn't get that many great returns from her since joining the Big XII. I'll not take away from her that she is a great ambassador for women's basketball, and that she was a great coach in the '80s when there wasn't any parity in women's basketball. It's unfortunate that no matter who UT has as coach, that person will most likely be in Jody's shadow for their entire tenure.
 
I am a fan of Texas. An alumni. A generous donater too... no need to justify it to you. Kudos are earned... and my beef is about what happens on the floor that is of importance here. If Texas wants to produce just excellent scholars then can the women's team if championships are not the ultimate goal.

You know, what they say about Portland people is true. Too bad.

Lived in Portland for 12 years now and like it so much. I think I've told you before the one great thing about Seattle is that once you get through the mess, you're halfway to Vancouver, B.C.
