Nice ground ball single up the gut by Ivan. Two aboard. Dunn showing control problems.

Dunn gets the hook
Exit stage left
Enter Graf

Graf is a lefty. Also a sort of sidearm delivery. Small petite guy. Lots of strikeouts.

All right. If he’s going to call that (waaaay inside) a strike, he’s better give our pitcher the same call.

Bunt. Now 2nd and 3rd one out and Skye at the plate.

Bat has lately been the coldest bat this side of Siberia. (See if that works).

Sthele’s mixing it up and hitting the corners. He’s making mincemeat of this Bulldog lineup.

And right after I typed that, he beaned a man.

Silas is helping him out by framing the pitches really well. This Ump seems to like them inside. If it’s sort of high, it’s a ball.

Coach is really using these games to see what he’s got in pitching depth. Stehle threw well as usual. Cameron Dayton (transfer Midland JC) made it interesting, but ultimately got the can or corn pop out to keep it 6-3. Top of the 6th.

Beatson: you’re about to take a beatin son—beaning Titanic up high like that.

Ivan got picked off leading off at 1st. He should’ve just charged the mound when he was beaned. By the way—what would happen were a college player to charge the mound? You see it frequently in the pros.

:rolleyes1:

More of the same. Enter Southard. Still with a 0.00 ERA.

Skye at the plate with one on. Bat coldest bat this side of Siberia. (Let’s see if that works again).

Poorly fielded bunt. They were lucky to get him out. O Dowd on 3rd. Skye Messinger on 2nd.

Daly with an RBI single. Grounded it through the left side. Tipped by the SS.

7-4 us
