We were grooming him for our normal mid week starter.

Thus is an important game. Put our best available out there and serve chopped liver mid week I guess…. (I’m guessing Eck is setting up for a Nixon close?)

Meanwhile, West Virginia just swept Baylor to secure its place atop the B12 standings with a 5-1 conference record (strange that TCU has played twice as many conference games as WVA).
 
This was a big victory and a big series win! We beat a top 25 team in a series. Conference wins exceed conference losses. Conference series wins exceed conference series losses. Keep winning conference series and we’re where we need to be.

Our national ranking will stay around #6, #7 or #8
