If we make it past UCLA, our only hope will be if Tonya Harding has it in for Brianna Stewart.Stewart with a double double (16 pts, 11 rebs) with 4 minutes left in the second quarter. Also has two blocks, so a possible triple double for her if MSU keeps driving inside. Miss State has had a few good plays but otherwise has been totally disrupted by the UConn D.
HAHAHAHA OMG, this is the best comment ever! Speaking of Tonya...If we make it past UCLA, our only hope will be if Tonya Harding has it in for Brianna Stewart.
Oh, lighten up......do you just hunt for the negative? Sometimes "visuals"....like a cartoon or an editorial cartoon are funny. Jesus...get a grip!.....yeah, no. even making a joke about an opponent having to be assaulted to have a chance to win is not something I find funny.

If im correct but im proably not correct on the ncaa brackets or regions if Texas wins and Baylor win i believe but not sure of that they will meet and winner goes to the final 4? Remember its march and anything can happen and no im not drunk but i believe we can win or at least give uconn a run for the money. hook'em
No matter how the game ends on monday night i'll be watching the games with my hornsup and horns held high in the air after the game. #BELIEVE #ALLIN #FINISHYou are correct. And you are also right, anything can happen, re: we could play Baylor again, but more likely Baylor will play UConn for a trip to the final four and that's sad. It would be better if they could play each other in the championship game as I think they are the best two teams left in the tourney.

UConn isn't killing the women's game. All the wbb coaches that refuse to evolve are killing the women's game. They need to look at what Geno is doing and learn how to run a competent offense. You don't have to run the same offense that he's running because not every program has that kind of personnel. But all the wbb coaches including Coach Aston need to step up and improve on the offensive end of the floor.UConn is single handely killing the women's game.. Everyone expects them to win by 40 every game and it has really made people not care about the sport IMO.
And you see the wide open exciting offense that they run with the floor spread. Post players aren't standing on the block clogging up the paint.Washington is on a roll. They are in the final four with the win over Stanford. Not a surprise as they have now won 2 of 3 against Stanford this season, including the last two. I wanted Stanford to win but Washington simply played better.
So there wasn't an "SEC" chant? .....LOL>>>LOL>>>>LOL>>>>>Wonder if Tenn fans are going to start up with the "fire Holly" chant. I thought Tenn did a very good job getting to the Elite Eight. And they played a lot better than in the middle of the season, when they earned that #7 seed.
Syracuse vs Washington is going to be a great game.
Successful coaches adapt to the abilities of their players. You can't coach a 6'2" player to play 6'7" or 5'4" player to play 6'2". (Exception: Brooke doesn't know she isn't 6'2" and doesn't care). I do not believe our posts have shown the mobility and shooting consistency to play the "wide open offense" you see others using. Our Elite 8 success is because we have used our size to a rebounding advantage and intimidating defense. And you see the wide open exciting offense that they run with the floor spread. We will absolutely see a different offense next year. You will have the Caron-Gadreau twins who are both lethal 3 point shooters, and very skilled offensively. You will also have Joyner Holmes, a 6'3" BEAST who is beyond EXPLOSIVE off the bounce, handles the ball like a guard, is CAT QUICK down the floor, can jump out of the gym, and has an outstanding mid-range jumpshot. Then you add Alecia Sutton (pending recovery) and Jada Underwood. We will be much more difficult to guard in the half-court and will be able to spread the floor (i.e. Washington, Syracus & Oregon State). Having 5 players who are consistent shooters will open up the driving lanes for Brooke, LaShann, Ariel, etc., as well as open up the mid-range game. Should be FUN!!!!!Successful coaches adapt to the abilities of their players. You can't coach a 6'2" player to play 6'7" or 5'4" player to play 6'2". Next year's players will have different size and different skills. I fully expect we will see a different offense next year.
Your're right. I do believe for the most part that Coach Aston is running a system that fits her players. Washington and Ohio State run the dribble drive motion offense. The coach for Washington was an assistant coach for Kevin Mcguff before he took the job at Ohio State. So it's not a coincidence that both coaches run the same offense with very similar players that Mcguff recruited in Kelsey Plum and Kelsey Mitchell. Hopefully the offense will be different next year because the post players are going to be a lot more mobile and versatile.Successful coaces adapt to the abilities of their players. Sorry not sure what you are saying.I don't believe ours really does not do that.
