Stoops welcomes booted LSU lineman

I can vouch for Pete's source as well. I've known "coach" for years, and as a general rule of thumb I don't talk to him about anything football related because he's a ******* retard. Just kidding. Seriously, good source, great football mind but also keen to off the field matters. I remember talking to the guy when we were recruiting Ramonce Taylor and the first thing he told was we shouldn't didn't sign him because his off the field issues were a nightmare. Also expressed the same sentiment towards Ryan P., but then again Helen Keller could have seen that one coming. Put it this wya, he's not a guy to throw someone under the bus unless the kid is a head case.

That's not to say this guy can't turn it around at OU, but you have to scratch your head as to why Stoops would take the gamble. It's one thing to recruit a player and he turns out to be a bag of ****. Sometimes you don't have the time or foresight to know the real story of a high school athlete. When it's proven the guy isn't committed to taking care of business, and you're a big time program with a stocked depth chart, I don't understand the logic. But then again I'm not a jackoff like Stoops
 
Oh, you mean kind of like the coach and OK fans would know about illegal payments to players or free car use by a prominent player......sooner rather than later...........right?
 
Hell, nothing to complain about here.

1) Every time Stoops/OU does this sort of thing, it justifies our indignation

2) It's further proof that they have, essentially, a dirty team and a dirty fanbase

3) It makes it more likely that they will not have a harmonious locker room when they take in head cases, and in the long run this is good for us
