I too would love to have Khale next year but I totally understand the bond between twins/sisters too. But in saying that i am also very excited about our size and talent coming next year. I hope that Chasity understand the leadership role she must have just as Sug has. Point guard is so different in college. I thought it was great seeing all the players talking to her during the game Sunday. She will be great so much sooner if she listens.

“I think we need to get better defensively,” Aston said. “I’m not pleased with the way we played on the defensive end.”

Texas’ defensive struggles were particularly noticeable in the interior, where Stetson sophomore forward Kennedi Colclough recorded 19 points for the Hatters on 8-13 shooting. It looked as if at times she was scoring at will.

“I do think that I will begin to find some people that want to play defense,” Aston said. “Especially when they won’t play if they don’t.”
