State of the Union

Public funding is responsible for the success of Nat gas shale drilling? Was George Mitchell a government official? Obama is a ******* moron. Oh and here he goes with energy "subsidies."

So, you're going to impose some fee on banks, and this will repay america, even though the banks have already repaid these loans with substantial interest?

Also, how many times is he going to refer negatively to Bush? Did Bush ever refer to Clinton?

A living will? Is he serious? Do people buy this ****?

He's talking the talk like he always does. This is the start of his farewell tour.

No, it's not his farewell tour. He's coming back, barring another economy setback, which I don't see. We are gonna have to listen to 4 more years of this fucktard.

Y'all realize that virtually nothing he's proposed will ever materialize?

Did the GOP just cheer when O said the executive branch needs to change? If so, that's greatness.

because they are mindless ideas that have been tried and failed on pretty much every level. he is a fucktard skid mark who needs to go polish jimmy carters nob. his only redeeming quality is he has improved jimmys legacy. oh, and surprise, he blames rich people for congress and him spending too much. brilliant.

On a side note, I heard an interview with white house senior adviser Valerie Jarrett after the speech and had a really hard time listening to her. It wasn't what she said, as much as how she said it. What a strange annoying voice. Kind of a mix of monotone and a whine what keeps going up.

The part where Obama talked about teamwork, citing the mission that got bin laden, where everyone worked as a TEAM, that they knew they had each others' back, stressing that same kind of teamwork in DC, was I thought powerfully delivered. Something that only the oratorical prowess of an Obama can do justice to.

And Sen. Magoo McDaniels opposition speech sounds like the sky is falling and that he hasn't seen any ecomomic stats of the past year. Lots of times it seems the GOP - candidates and Daniels tonight - sound like they talk about how bad they "want" the country to be doing, versus how well it actually is doing.

The President's closing remarks about the Seals and the teamwork that was done should speak very loudly to Congress.

Hook'em!!!

I was listening to Charlie Parker (a tell it like it is 60 year old) and Charity McCurdy (a Generation Y type, not very politcal, but has a good voice, probably good looking) talk about it on WOAI radio coming to work this morning. Their show really isn't about politics, it's more of a local "Good Morning America" format.

Parker: "I'm not going to talk about the content of the SOTU because there wasn't any content. What did you think Charity?"

McCurdy: "I thought it was inspiring and ...", blah, blah, blah.

The bad news: at least some of the young folks still can't see through the BS. They hear the pretty words and ******** promises and think they really mean something.

I fear 4 more years of BO are coming and I think that is very bad news for the good ole U.S. of A (a Supreme Court pack with activist liberals, open borders, etc. etc.).

^^ And, yet, he wants to cut defense spending by how much? Thought he had their back?

I also liked the part about how Buffet's secretary pays less tax than Buffet. I guess there are enough idiots in the U.S. that buy this line without knowing the difference between tax on income and tax on dividends.

In between he spoke of a peace dividend from the end of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that he would use on building projects and green energy production.

peace dividend? Lets see if I understand basic math. Currently, the iran and afghanistan campaign probably costs about 150-200 billlion or so a year. It's being financed by borrowed money. Regardless of that, we are borrowing another trillion+ a year to run the government. where is the dividend? then he wants to throw away this phantom dividend (more borrowed money) at Solyndra type failed projects and probably other unnecessary building projects. what a turd as are his followers.

Obama is an idiot. No other way around it. Really the only thing he is good at is campaign speeches which is exactly what he did last night in the SOTU.

He's fired already and he along with his loyal followers don't even know it yet. He's done nothing but divide America.
