St. Johns vs. Horns

Guilty as charged on leaving early. Week-night game, I’m old, long drive home, 11-run lead, lots of pitching changes for both teams resulting in a game taking 3 1/2 hours

No sir, was seeing all the empty seats in the stadium. Sorry to hear about your mother. I'm at the point where Im losing family members every year, lost my dad this time last year and an uncle this year and my grandmother had a stroke in December. Im getting old.

NP. Sorry to hear that about your family. Most of us on these boards are old enough we are losing family...

Yeah, I was surprised when he took the mound for us, but O'Hara does have a scoreless inning on the mound for us this year.
It was the 9th inning of the Houston Christian game. Cade O'Hara with a scoreless inning as the closer.

1. #3 LSU
2. Texas State
3. #9 Vanderbilt

tournament in Houston at Enron Field (now known as Orange Juice Park)
Now for a real novelty, they should invite the teams with the 6 best starting pitchers in the game, and hold a tournament in the old Astrodome.

"And it's 1-1 heading into the 14th inning between Wake Forest and Texas..."

Enron... wow, I remember when the company I was with at that time had Enron as a strategic target for new business, I did some initial investigation on them including reviewing their financial statements. I was confused and told senior decision makers I had never seen statements like this before and someone with more credit sophistication or an auditor better review before moving forward. Fortunately others agreed re: convoluted and odd financial statements and we wisely passed.

Sorry, this comment was way off subject....

And that's why Enron had to buy off Arthur Andersen. Hmm, baseball related. Uh, they were headquartered in Chicago which has two MLB teams!

Coach has to ease Witt back into pitching in games. He may be a 1-2 innings only guy for a while. Glad to see some success for Witt last night.
