St. Johns vs. Horns

Luke Harrison will come in to pitch. A forgettable outing for Grubbs. Dug himself some holes, could have been worse. The fielding did Max some favors, but it was that Error resulted in the only run scored thus far. Harrison has to dig us out of this trouble in the 3rd.

it seems like everytime a pitcher inherits runners, no matter how good they are, they allow the runs to come in before shutting things down. I didn't think Grubbs looked too bad, i would give him a B- right now. Harrison settled down after allowing the base clearing double.

Luke Harrison showing what he did 2 years ago--coming in when we're in trouble and stopping the opponent's offense.

Grubbs will be good. He'll keep getting plenty of chances. Coach is developing him.

Chaffee with 50 pitches tonight. The St Johns Coach is coming to the mound to gripe about the quality of pizza in Austin. Chaffee stays in the game.

Chaffee has thrown 62 pitches. St Johns coach has some men in the bullpen getting warmed up.

We're mostly not connecting at the plate, but at least in this game we're driving up the pitch count and having good at bats.

I have no idea what St J has in their bullpen for weekday games, but it's probably not that great.
