Not with Coburn out there. Right now the D-line is stacked. If Ojomo is displacing Collins, the line will be ridiculous next year. Three guys who could start at Alabama. No drop off in production when one of them needs a rest. I like ...

I mean, most people had Collins pegged as the next big breakout star this upcoming season.....and he may be coming off the bench

I once heard Troy Aikman say that in the NFL they measure a QB by his ability to throw the 20-yard out route. By that standard, Card is the QB we want. Card has a gun for an arm. Thompson tends to float his passes, which makes them easier to catch and to intercept. Card threw a couple of outs that were more impressive than his only TD pass.

Can't disagree with this^^^^

I do think some guys had it right earlier and we need to just throw these two in a blender now and make one perfectly smooth(ie) starter with all the tools

I can see why people would be in awe (as in aweful) of this>>>> play....but who takes the time to write and publish this craptastic stuff?
And, embedded in the piece, is another example of a conference social media outlet going out of their way to rib a team from an opposing conference. I'll never understand this..ever. Strange times...

...and, to be fair, really strange play.
(Though I could see it working if he actually looked where he is throwing after staring down the "screen"....and if he wasn't attempting a sky hook, and if he turned his hips to throw, and if the defender didn't run the route better than the WR, and if two guys didn't read it and fall into coverage, and if they probably didnt know that play was coming, and....)

Just watched a condensed version of the spring game. Thompson looked good. Card looked better.
