Hmm. I thought and posted that they looked exactly equal, right before the half. Then, Thompson throws a terrible pick six. First half was clearly in favor of Card. Even the score, and Card had fewer weapons. Then the second half was clearly Card.
Your posts reflected a biased way that you saw everything Card did vs what Thompson did.
This is only one day in a long competition, but there is no doubt who is leaving the stadium happier and who won’t sleep tonight.

Both QBs had their ups and downs. It’s early and thus hard to judge from a spring game especially with Thompson going against ones and Card going against twos. They both have talent and are capable from what I see.

I'm good with both. Card is the better passer, imo, but Casey better at the other components.

The hard part about going against the 2s is that you have the 2s on OL and no Bijan.

I thought Card made better decisions. He won with less less talent around him for sure.

Receivers on both sides dropped a lot of balls. Moore dropped an easy TD. Thompson started out hot, but seem to become less effective as the game wore on. Defenses seemed farther along, which I guess isn’t unusual.

The weather was great. Good day to sit in the stands and watch a game.

Just FYI, you guys keep saying Card had lesser talent around him, but remember that he was playing against the lesser defense too. Both had some nice throws and both had some drops. Hopefully they can avoid a controversy!

Message was when either has time they can move the ball they the air. Card had more time in 2nd half and did well Thompson rarely had much time. The best at gaining more time thru scrambling will due the best. Both had pressure when dropping back.

I don't think LHN showed the players during the post game Eyes. They moved away from showing the team .

Sark & the players gathered and sang The Eyes after the scrimmage. Although it was not the best view, I did not see a player who did not raise The Horns.
