It's just gotta be the right mentality. Moody will be POPPING, right? We're gonna need that from the crowd. Honestly, if we can play them like we did last time and just have a few more shots fall early, then I like our chances. I don't think we needed to reinvent the wheel on this one - just play our game!
 
I think someone pointed out after the first meeting that they hit four more shots than we did and made seven more free throws. Dead even on points in the paint. We were basically even on rebounds and forced them into ten more turnovers than we committed. We just had a terrible shooting day from everyone. It really was a winnable game. I’m betting we shoot better than 27.8% this time around.
 
Vic went with an 8 player rotation. Expect the same against SC unless we have foul issues.
Simply don't see any bench help after the initial 8.
Booker needs to get hot early and stay that way. And Holle needs to not disappear as she tends to do in these big games.
We're gonna get punched in the mouth so get set for that. Recover and just play basketball.

Great first period. Texas ahead by 2. So different than last time. May be no players left due to penalty happy refs. Glad to see Justice playing.
 
Total team win!!! Once again, everyone who played significant minutes did some great things in critical moments whether it was offensively or defensively.

I was so glad to see Carlton go in early in the game. I want so badly for her to do well at Texas... stay, trust the process of growing pains and maturing. She has the potential to be a very good player!

Won almost completely in the paint. Jones and Oldacre my MVP's of that game. When Rori and Maddy are hitting their shots better, we will be even tougher. I love it when Booker drives in for layups. It's hard to stop her. Our defense was fantastic.
