It's his money and his family, I for one am pretty hesitant to walk in someone elses shoes.

If he wants to give his brother a metaphorical middle finger, if he wants to say bro is irrepairable, whatever.....

I see a bunch of judging from people who are saying it is bad to judge.

Do whatever you want dude, "whatever gets you through the night, it's alright". There are people in my life that I would love to have the last say with from beyond the grave. I would like to hope that at some point I grow out of those feelings but I dang sure am not going to look down on someone else over the same stuff.

I like the idea of giving it to Scottish Rite. If I had any money to give away, that might be who I gave it too. Maybe something that helps disabled veterans?

we all hear about junkies that commit crimes on the news. a lot of those junkies we consider a waste of human life and have no intention of bettering society. well a lot of those junkies are brothers. some aren't as bad as others. your brother sounds like a real piece of ****. my brother isn't as bad, despite being jailed for the past three years for addiction.

he's a grown *** man and made a choice. it's a choice plain and simple. i don't understand people who defend addicts because they're 'ill'.

thankfully, my brother is back on the right path. i pray he stays that way. had he stayed that course, i was already done with him.
